I just read that there was a fire at the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok.
Apparently, the fire started on the uppermost floor, severely damaged the roof of the building and destroyed a lot of documents. No one was hurt.
The news clip simply stated that:
The embassy closed its visa section.
It can't be just me who couldn't help but wonder whether the embassy actually set fire to its own building, just so as to give it an excuse not to process the visa applications from relief workers waiting to get their clearance.
